Samsung quietly launched its Galaxy Tab A9 Plus in October of last year. The Wi-Fi only version starts at $219, but unlike other Android tablets in this price range, you can also get a 5G version. Samsung.com offers the A9 Plus with AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile and US Cellular for $269. The 9to5Google team was the first to notice.
Tab A9 Plus now available in the US :
The A9 Plus has an 11-inch display with a smooth refresh rate of 90Hz — a feature that is rare at this price, and something you will not find on an iPad entry-level. The A9 Plus has an 8-megapixel camera on the back and a 5-megapixel camera on the front. It also comes with a 7,040mAh power bank. The Wi-Fi model comes in either 4GB RAM/64GB storage, or 8GB RAM/128GB of storage. However, the 5G version only offers the 4GB/64GB configuration.
The A-Series tablet is a good deal for under $300. However, it lacks a few notable features, including compatibility with the S Pen stylus and IP ratings for dust and water resistance. If you want these features, you’ll need to upgrade to the Tab S9 Series, which starts at $449.
The A-series also lacks color. The A9 Plus comes in three very slick colors: graphite or silver. You’ll need to spend more if you want mint or lavender.
