Quest 2 launched as a great little device, thanks to its stand-alone nature. It’s one of the most accessible and affordable mainstream VR headsets, and you won’t need to worry about wires or external depth sensors. The Quest 2 is half the price of the Quest 3 and supports the vast majority, even if the specs are lower. Meta has also continued to release regular upgrades over the past year for its entry level headset, increasing GPU speeds and CPU performance, with promises of further support.
